Some will have android tv's and prefer local couch co-op play some will have a tablet or device and prefer two gamepad on one tablet. I guess the answers to all your questions is yes all of the above. The general trend seems to be to support on screen button mapping covering all options and having a variety of maps and even to allow the user to customize their own on screen mapping however they please and choose. Tell me if you prefer some specific button mapping. I guess digging action can be always enabled, I don't want to use another button for it, and you cannot quite press left+right using a joystick. I can even do both players to be controlled by a single gamepad, there are enough buttons for sure, but how will you hold it, ehm, well, I'm open to suggestions.

E.g.Sure, I can port OpenLiero to Android, but touchscreen controls are absolutely impossible.Īre you ready to plug two gamepads into your phone, using USB OTG adapter and USB hub? They cost $5 and $7, and I assume you already have two XBox or PS3 USB gamepads.Ĭan you possibly invest into two Bluetooth gamepads, and carry them around with you at all times, to be prepared for a sudden Liero duel with a random stranger on a bus stop? They cost around $20, but the quality is all over the place.ĭo you perhaps own some Android TV box, so it will look less awkward to plug your gamepads into it? with the /Applications/Utilities/Terminal application).

Specify the filter "openlierox" and you will see all the output.Īnother way is similar to Unix, just call it via console (e.g. MacOSX saves the console output of every application and this tool can show them. One way of getting the output (also from already running OLX or already exited OLX) is the tool /Applications/Utilities/Console. Depending on the operating system, the console output of OpenLieroX is a bit hidden from you.įor Linux/Unix, just call the game via console. Just post it or attach it to the bug report. If you are using a version from Git, please say exactly what revision that is.īeside that, for the bug itself, the console output is needed in almost all cases. If you are not using the most recent version of OpenLieroX, please try with the newest version if the problem is already fixed there. When filling in a bug report, please be precise! Say exactly, what version you are using, what operating system (Windows, MacOSX, Linux) and what version of that you are using. If you find a bug in OpenLieroX, please fill in a bug report! If you have a nice idea about a feature or if you just miss something, please fill in a feature request.

Own modified configs, screenshots and other stuff always will be stored in ~/.OpenLieroX. You can also add more searchpathes and change this in cfg/options.cfg. and /usr/share/games/OpenLieroX for game-data (all path are relative to this bases) (in this order) by default.

The game searches the paths ~/.OpenLieroX. The game uses case insensitive filenames (it will use the first found on case sensitive filesystems). Use the MSVC project under build/msvc 2010.
